Sales Manager (Spain and Portugal) – Position Description

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director for Europe and Latam, the Sales Manager Spain and Portugal will responsible for the generation of sales through partners such as systems integrators, Resellers and/or value added distributors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities as well as close orders for Intelex Vision´s iSentry Video Product Suite
  • Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives in coordination with the Regional Sales Director
  • Promote products and services through direct customer contact
  • Source, qualify, select and manage VADs (Value Added Distributors), System Integrators, and Resellers
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule and perform promotional work and regularly track sales opportunities with all channels, end-users and distributors, tracking these with the Salesforce software
  • Oversee and manage the sale of products and services
  • Prepare proposals and quotes for prospective customers and provide them with pricing and information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
  • Work on key projects and oversee the deployment of our products
  • Provide first level technical guidance to customers (end-users), integrators and partners
  • Provide product and sales training to VADs, integrators, and selected end-users
  • Supervise and oversee installations at customer sites where required to ensure proper commissioning and customer satisfaction
  • Attend trade shows and participate at various marketing events
  • Participate in the development of training materials
  • Provide feedback regarding end user customer requirements to engineering and operations departments to help implement product improvements and new product releases
  • Compile data on competitive products and pricing and report it back to head office; maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings
  • Identify key surveillance market influencers, establish contact with them, and demonstrate to them the superiority and utility of our products
  • Must-Have Skills

    • 2+ years of documented track record of sales performance is required, from security industry will be considered a plus.
    • Effective and proven negotiation skills
    • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with the right stakeholders
    • Strong relationship management skills
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Highly effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation)
    • Thorough understanding of security sales cycles
    • Understanding of commercial accounts, competitive landscape and customer procurement processes
